Dustystaytrue is an artist raised in New Haven, Connecticut. His hometown presented two contrasting worlds: one of privilege and promise, and the other plagued by crime and hardship. Growing up, he found himself more acquainted with the latter reality. Bearing the burdens of his environment from a tender age, he sought solace in music, using it as a therapeutic outlet. Through his artistry, he curated a collection of deeply personal tracks blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, and beyond. His breakthrough came with the release of "Never Change," earning him recognition. Further singles such as "Talk Tough" and his collaboration with Killbunk on "Outta Time" solidified his standing in the music scene.

Dustystaytrue's ascent in the music industry reached new heights when he secured a coveted spot on tour alongside heavyweights A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Polo G, and Lil Wayne. His raw talent and emotive storytelling caught the attention of industry insiders, earning him the opportunity to share the stage with these iconic artists across multiple dates.
